Malung-Sälen High School has 8 national high school programs and several IM programs. The school has a strong sports profile focused on winter sports with national sports education in freeski, snowboarding, and alpine skiing, NIU education in freeski and snowboarding, as well as LIU hockey. We also offer ski instructor training as a special variant. The school has about 350 students and is characterized by a family-like and developing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work consists of teaching the subject of special sports with a focus on alpine elite sports. You will plan, implement, and evaluate students' training in alpine skiing (SL, GS, SG, DH) in collaboration with other special sports teachers. There will be both weekend and evening work. You will closely collaborate with colleagues in an environment where students develop as skiers alongside their studies within their chosen national program.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed the Swedish Ski Association's education ladder, relevant higher education or equivalent education. You are engaged, positive, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You enjoy working with young people and have good pedagogical skills.

Previous coaching assignments at junior and senior levels are advantageous. Additionally, you are knowledgeable in testing methodology, training science, and sport-specific techniques, and have good sport-specific competence.
